Billing basics

A few things to know before you start.

Do you take a commission on reservations?
No. BookDinePlay is a flat monthly (or annual) subscription per venue — never a per-reservation or per-cover commission. You keep the full guest relationship.
When do ordering and payments become available?
Table & game ordering with printable QR codes is included from the Pro plan. Online payments and deposits — collected securely via Stripe — are part of the Premium plan.
Can I run and sell tickets for event nights?
Venue events — a dart league final, a Champions League night, a tournament — are included from Pro: guests register on your own site and every attendee gets a named ticket with a code your team checks in at the door. Selling paid tickets online is part of Premium and needs a connected payout account, so ticket money is paid out to you.
How do online payments work?
On Premium, guests can pay their table or game invoice, or leave an optional full or partial deposit. Money is collected through Stripe and settled to your account; BookDinePlay and Stripe fees are deducted transparently.
Is there a free trial and can I switch plans?
Yes — start with a trial and upgrade or downgrade as your venue grows, from a single dining room to multiple venues with billiards, darts, bowling lanes and event space. Annual billing saves two months.
Do I need a card for the trial?
Yes. We ask for a card to start the 14-day trial, but nothing is charged during those 14 days — cancel any time from the customer portal and you will not be billed.
What happens when the trial ends?
The plan you chose starts automatically and billing begins. We e-mail you three days before the trial ends so there are no surprises. If a payment fails, your account is suspended — never deleted — until billing is sorted out.
